10th Anniversary Christmas Performance
The Mavericks Dance Team performed at Neon Boots Dancehall & Saloon for the dancehall’s Country Christmas night on December 12, 2024. This special night of line dancing to Christmas music is a customer favorite event. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first time the team performed together, they brought back the very first number they performed in December 2014!

The Mavericks Dance Team performed two numbers at the WWLA dance convention. The first number was a special tribute to the LA Wranglers, the dance team and their charity organization. The Mavericks founder, Fernando Garcia, was an original performing member of the LA Wranglers, and he wanted to do the Wrangler’s first performance number as a tribute to the LA Wrangler’s at WWLA 2024. With the blessings from the LA Wranglers’ founder, Rick Dominguez and other board members, the Mavericks took the summer to learn the number. During the grand finale of the number, the LA Wranglers came on stage with the Mavericks to perform the final section of the number. The crowd responded the way Fernando had hoped – they were excited and filled with joy. The performance was truly a tribute to the LA Wranglers, and the combination performance shows that dance connects all of us.

The Mavericks Dance Team performs Don’t Make Me Beg at WWLA 2024
The Mavericks Dance Team has been fortunate to have a chorographer who has choreographed many of the exhibition performance numbers danced by the Mavericks Dance Team. The choreographer, Chad Guidry, is created various performances that rely on couple dance skills, acting while dancing, and choreography like many dancers of dance in chorus lines and musicals. Don’t Make Me Beg has required the highest couple dance skill levels of any of the numbers the team has performed, and the team performed it on the second night of WWLA 2024.
