Performance Support
The Mavericks Dance Foundation offers a range of services to help you explore and celebrate the art of line and country western dance. One of the three primary services is to support the Mavericks Dance Team. Many roles are required beyond dancing to provide a performance, such as being DJ for practices, taking photos and videos of practices and performances, and in assisting with costumes and other needs. The Foundation also provides financial support for costumes, props, travel, and convention registration. In return, the Mavericks Dance Team provides performances, attends lessons and workshops, and networks with other instructors, all to return to the local community with new line dances and couple dance skills to share.
Inclusive Dance Classes
We believe line and country western dance should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer inclusive dance classes for individuals of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. Our classes are designed to foster a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can feel confident and empowered. Many of the Mavericks Dance Foundation members serve as instructors for Neon Boots Dancehall & Saloon’s Thursday line dance lessons, and all members serve as dance angels to assist others with steps for line dances. When line dancing breaks for country western dancing, Mavericks Dance Team members are available to partner dance, whether you want to dance 2-Step, Waltz, West Coast Swing, Nightclub 2-Step, or Swing.
Community Outreach
Giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do. Through our outreach programs, we collaborate with local organizations, senior centers, and community organizations to bring the joy of line and country western dance to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity or just because it’s a fun and entertaining way to excite participants at an event you are hosting.
